Third Coast Percussion to perform in Portola Valley
Third Coast Percussion, a Chicago-based all-percussion chamber ensemble, is scheduled to perform a concert on Sept. 26 in Portola Valley. The event is presented by the nonprofit Coast Live Music.
The Grammy Award-winning quartet, which first won in the classical genre in 2017, has spent 20 years promoting composed percussion music. The group has commissioned more than 100 new works from a variety of composers, including Philip Glass and Danny Elfman.
