Thirteen North African citizens repatriated via charter flight
Thirteen North African citizens were repatriated via a dedicated charter flight in an operation coordinated by the Central Directorate for Immigration and Border Police, with support from the European agency Frontex.
Most of the individuals repatriated had extensive criminal or police records, specifically involving crimes against persons and property. Among those expelled was an individual identified as a threat to state security. This person had been issued an expulsion order by the Minister of the Interior on October 9, 2026, due to concerns regarding terrorism prevention.
Police investigations revealed that the individual systematically used social media to disseminate messages hostile toward Western nations. These posts included explicit incitement to violence against European citizens and targets within Europe, demonstrating significant hostility toward the European Union and Italy.
