Théo Curin confirms survival of motorcycle taxi accident in Paris
French television presenter and former para-swimmer Théo Curin has confirmed he was involved in a motorcycle taxi accident on the Paris ring road (périphérique) on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Reports indicate that a car struck the vehicle at high speed near Porte de Saint-Cloud, causing the impact to be severe enough that Curin’s prosthetic limbs were thrown from his body. Despite the intensity of the collision, Curin reported that he sustained only minor scratches and contusions.
Speaking via social media and on the program ‘Tout beau, tout neuf’ on W9, Curin reassured fans that he is doing well, stating, “I was very afraid, but more fear than harm.” He noted that while he suffered some material damage to his prostheses, he has already returned to filming for the show ‘Slam’ on France 3.
