Thodoris Zaras retires from basketball to join PAOK academy

Former Greek basketball player Thodoris Zaras has announced his retirement from professional play at the age of 39. Following his decision to end his active career, Zaras has accepted a new role within the PAOK basketball department.

Zaras will focus on the club's developmental program, overseeing the youth academies up to the cadet level, which will also compete in the Gamma Ethniki division following a merger with DEKA. He emphasized the importance of investing in youth development and expressed satisfaction with the timing of his transition into this new professional challenge.
