Thomas Ceccon wins four medals at European Aquatics Championships

Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon secured four medals at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris. His performance included two silver medals and two bronze medals.

In individual events, Ceccon earned silver in the 100m backstroke with a time of 52.28 seconds, finishing just 0.01 seconds behind Greece's Apostolos Christou. He also claimed bronze in the 200m backstroke, setting a new Italian record with a time of 1:53.96.

In relay competitions, Ceccon contributed to a silver medal in the men's 4x100m medley alongside Nicolò Martinenghi, Alberto Razzetti, and Carlos D’Ambrosio. He also earned a bronze in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay with Carlos D’Ambrosio, Sara Curtis, and Emma Virginia Menicucci, setting a new Italian record in the process.
