Thomas Ceccon returns to Paris for European swimming championships

Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon has returned to Paris to compete in the European Aquatics Championships. This visit comes two years after his gold medal performance in the 100m backstroke during the 2024 Olympic Games.

Sharing updates on social media, Ceccon noted that his accommodations this time are satisfactory, remarking, “It’s good, the room is okay.” This follows his experience during the 2024 Olympics, where he was reported to have slept outdoors due to a lack of air conditioning in his room. He also mentioned that the local food is good and his accommodation is a 15-minute walk from the swimming pool.
