German television presenter Thomas Gottschalk has appeared in a new photograph following his recent battle with cancer. The image, shared on Instagram by his sister Raphaela Ackermann, shows the 76-year-old smiling at a wedding celebration.

This public appearance serves as a significant update for fans, as Gottschalk has largely withdrawn from the spotlight to focus on his health. In July, he shared that he is currently cancer-free following two surgeries, 33 radiation treatments, and a three-week rehabilitation period, though he noted that his condition could change at any time.

Despite his improved health, Gottschalk has indicated that he does not plan a return to major television broadcasting, stating that nothing is currently planned for a comeback.
