Thomas Helmer criticizes former coach Julian Nagelsmann

Speaking on the ZDF program ‘Volle Kanne’, Helmer suggested that Nagelsmann lacked a necessary connection with his players, noting that the coach should have made more appearances at the stadium to show respect to the squad.

Helmer expressed optimism regarding the new national coach, Jürgen Klopp, stating that Klopp brings a sense of euphoria and enthusiasm to the national team. Helmer also noted that the perceived lack of bond between the previous coaching staff and the players may have negatively impacted their performance during the tournament in America.
