Thomas Jolly to direct Dalida musical spectacle in 2027

Director Thomas Jolly, known for the Paris 2024 Olympic opening and closing ceremonies, has announced a new musical and theatrical production titled ‘Dalida in paradisco’. The show aims to depict the life of the iconic singer through a ‘disco and dreamlike odyssey’.

The production has the official support of Orlando, Dalida’s brother and manager of her cultural heritage. Jolly intends to use archival materials, including press clippings, to incorporate Dalida’s own words into the spoken segments of the performance.

The tour is scheduled to begin in October 2027 and run through April 2028. It will include a residency at the Dôme de Paris from October 16, 2027, to January 2, 2028, followed by stops in 13 French cities, as well as Geneva and Brussels.
