Thomas Krasonis finishes NASCAR Euro Series season in top four

Greek driver Thomas Krasonis concluded his 2026 NASCAR Euro Series campaign at the Zolder circuit, finishing fourth in the V8GP category standings with 453 points.

The season finale presented challenges, starting with tire selection and car setup errors during Saturday's timed sessions that placed Krasonis 14th on the grid. Following contact from an opponent early in Saturday's race, his PK Carsport Chevrolet Camaro suffered mechanical issues, resulting in a 12th-place finish. However, Krasonis recovered on Sunday, climbing from 12th on the grid to finish in fifth place.

Throughout the season, Krasonis earned three pole positions and recorded seven fastest laps. He also secured second place in the junior category standings. His teammate at PK Carsport, Vittorio Ghirelli, was crowned the 2026 V8GP champion, becoming the first driver in NASCAR Euro Series history to win the title three times.
