Thomas Reis discusses Trabzonspor's victory over Galatasaray

Trabzonspor manager Thomas Reis reflected on his rapid transition to the club following a 4-0 victory against Galatasaray. Reis described his arrival as a “turbulent week,” noting that he moved from coaching Ludogorets to Trabzon within 24 hours. Due to the limited preparation time, which included only two training sessions, Reis focused his tactical approach on discipline, player cooperation, and off-the-ball movement rather than complex new instructions.

Following the win, Trabzonspor faces a demanding schedule during the upcoming international break period. The club is set to play five official matches within 17 days, including league fixtures against Samsunspor, Beşiktaş, and Çaykur Rizespor, as well as UEFA Europa Conference League matches against KuPS and Hearts.

In preparation for this dense schedule, the team is managing player fitness.
