Thomas Reis seeks historic record with Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor manager Thomas Reis is aiming to become the first foreign coach in the club's history to win his first three Süper Lig matches. Following victories against Galatasaray and Samsunspor, Reis looks to secure a win against Beşiktaş in the eighth week of the Trendyol Süper Lig to achieve this milestone.

Since taking over from Fatih Tekke, the German manager has overseen a significant turnaround in team performance. Under Reis, Trabzonspor has won three consecutive matches across domestic and European competitions, including a 4-2 victory against KuPS in the UEFA Conference League. During this period, the team has scored 11 goals and conceded only two.

In addition to tactical shifts, Reis has emphasized collective performance and hard work, noting that while star players like Mohamed Salah are assets, team success depends on total involvement. The squad has also seen a resurgence from players like Benjamin Bouchouari, who recently returned to form after injury struggles.
