Thomas Walkup records first zero-assist game in 154 Euroleague matches

Thomas Walkup has struggled to adapt to his new team, Dubai BC, during the early stages of the Euroleague season. In the regular season premiere against Real Madrid, Walkup recorded only five points and zero assists in 15 minutes and 43 seconds of play, resulting in a -4 Performance Index Rating (PIR).

This performance marks the first time in 154 Euroleague games that Walkup has failed to record a single assist. The last instance of such a statistic occurred on March 17, 2022, during a game between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. Prior to the Real Madrid matchup, Walkup's performances in the Euroleague Super Cup were also noted as mediocre, including a four-point game against Real Madrid and a three-point game against Fenerbahçe.
