Thoroughbred racing: Major wins at Del Mar, Kentucky, and Europe

A series of significant thoroughbred racing results occurred across international venues. At Del Mar, Bob Baffert secured his 20th Del Mar Futurity victory with Hughes, a son of Into Mischief, who won the Grade 1 race by 4 3/4 lengths.

In Kentucky, the European mare Tiffany, trained by Sir Mark Prescott, won the $2 million Grade 2 Kentucky Turf Cup Invitational Stakes at Kentucky Downs, defeating Ethical Diamond and earning a berth in the Breeders' Cup Turf. Additionally, Observed secured a victory in the Grade 3 Del Mar Juvenile Turf Stakes for trainer Jonathan Thomas.

In Europe, the unbeaten juvenile Push The Boat Out was purchased by Ace Stud following a win in the G3 Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh. Meanwhile, at ParisLongchamp, the TDN Rising Star Avec Toi maintained a perfect record, winning the G3 Qatar Prix La Rochette in a close finish against Imperial Strike.
