THQ Nordic announces relaunch of Gothic board game crowdfunding

THQ Nordic has announced a relaunch for the crowdfunding campaign of the board game ‘Gothic: A Shadow's Quest’. The campaign is scheduled to begin on September 30, 2026, on the Gamefound platform.

This marks a second attempt at financing the project. A previous campaign successfully raised over 166,000 euros before THQ Nordic decided to cancel it to incorporate fan feedback and implement various design changes. The updated version of the board game will feature new elements, such as fire mages, while maintaining the original story setting in the world of the Minental, set before the events of the first RPG.
