Three arrested after molotov cocktail attack on Kayseri market

A molotov cocktail was thrown at the entrance of a market in Mevlana Mahallesi, Şehit Fatih Duman Street, in Kayseri's Talas district. The device failed to enter the store, causing only minor damage to the door and a small fire that was quickly extinguished by fire‑fighter teams. Police arrived, secured the area and launched an investigation.

Three suspects were identified: Y.S.K. (35) and Y.S. (32) fled in a vehicle, while M.A. (27) was captured at his residence. All three were taken to a police station, underwent health checks and were forwarded to the prosecutor's office. A court ordered Y.S. and M.A. to be detained, while Y.S.K. was released under judicial control. The two detained individuals were subsequently placed in prison pending further proceedings.
