Three arrested for kidnapping and killing of State of Mexico police officer

Authorities in the State of Mexico have arrested three individuals—identified as Israel “N”, Ismael “N”, and Ramiro “N”—in connection with the kidnapping that resulted in the death of a state security officer.

The incident occurred on June 1 in Tejupilco. The victim was reportedly abducted and forced into a vehicle after refusing to comply with the demands of a criminal group. The officer was later discovered deceased in a vacant lot with gunshot wounds.

Investigators believe the suspects are part of a criminal structure originating from Michoacán. The three men, who were already in custody for an unrelated matter, face charges of kidnapping resulting in death, which carries a potential sentence of up to 140 years in prison.
