Three arrested in robbery and murder of agribusiness entrepreneur

Three suspects have been arrested in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, for the robbery and murder of 55-year-old agribusiness entrepreneur Angelo Vinicius Carneiro Gomes. The crime occurred between October 14 and 15 at the victim's residence in the Nova Rússia neighborhood of Ponta Grossa, Paraná.

Investigators from the Ponta Grossa Civil Police identified the suspects by tracking the victim's vehicle and monitoring surveillance footage of unauthorized purchases made with his credit cards. The victim was found dead inside his home with his hands tied and showing signs of violence.

The suspects reportedly fled the city with the victim's car and bank cards. Following the coordination between Paraná and Santa Catarina police forces, the three youths were detained. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full motivation behind the crime.
