Three Danish flex-traffic companies suspend all operations
Three major flex-traffic providers in Funen and Jutland—HA Logistik, Flex Fyn, and Flex Syd—have suspended all operations with immediate effect. The Odense-based companies, all owned by Yahya Majid Al-Shimmari, informed employees that they are unable to pay wages or settle other bills.
Since the beginning of 2023, these three companies have performed publicly funded flex-traffic services for FynBus, Midttrafik, and Sydtrafik totaling approximately 155 million DKK in gross costs. This sudden stoppage follows the recent cessation of services by another large provider, LS Busser, and the loss of operating permits by Reliable.
Al-Shimmari took over ownership and management of the companies in May, following the sentencing of Hussein Salem Al-Badri to 13 years in prison in a major narcotics case in Odense.
