Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson to undergo emergency surgery
Neil Sanderson, the drummer for the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace, will undergo emergency surgery on October 27 to repair a completely torn left biceps tendon. The injury occurred during an outdoor activity, resulting in the tendon detaching from the bone.
Due to the injury, Sanderson will be unable to play drums for the remainder of the band’s North American “Alienation” tour. He has already missed scheduled performances in Houston and San Antonio, and will also be absent from the show in Rogers, Arkansas. While he cannot perform on drums, Sanderson intends to participate in the tour by playing keyboards and providing backing vocals.
Shaun Foist, formerly of the band Breaking Benjamin, has been announced as the temporary replacement on drums to ensure the tour continues as planned alongside supporting acts I Prevail and The Funeral Portrait.
