Three dead, one seriously injured in diesel‑tanker crash near Gua Musang, Malaysia
A collision between a Perodua Myvi and a diesel‑fuel tanker trailer occurred on the Bentong‑Kota Bharu road near the Gua Musang rest‑area in the early morning. The crash killed three occupants – an adult man, an adult woman and a child – and left a fourth passenger with severe injuries. The tanker driver was unharmed.
Emergency services dispatched eight fire‑fighters with two fire‑engine units. Fire crews used a hydraulic cutter to free the trapped victims and transferred the injured passenger to the Ministry of Health for treatment. The deceased were handed over to police for investigation, which is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
