Three Fatal Road Accidents on Goiás Federal Highways Over Weekend

Three people were killed in separate traffic accidents on federal highways in the Brazilian state of Goiás during the weekend of 13‑14 May. The deaths occurred on BR‑414 in Corumbá (a 39‑year‑old man was struck and the driver fled), on BR‑452 in Rio Verde (a 42‑year‑old woman died after a car‑motorcycle collision and subsequent rollover), and on BR‑153 near Piracanjuba (a 40‑year‑old driver died when his vehicle fell off a viaduct). The Federal Highway Police recorded a total of 24 accidents in the state over the two days, with 20 people injured and 432 traffic infractions cited.
