Three foreign suspects arrested for murder of 42‑year‑old in Anavyssos, Greece

Greek police investigated the killing of a 42‑year‑old foreign national found dead in Anavyssos on the morning of 22 June 2026. The victim suffered a fatal head injury after being struck with a tree trunk during a dispute with the assailant. The three suspects, aged 50, 51 and 52, fled the scene and were later apprehended in a police operation on 23 June 2026. They have been charged with homicide, obstruction of justice and related offenses, and a fourth individual is being sought.
