Three injured after Cessna 206 crashes near Hermosillo, Mexico

A Cessna 206 aircraft took off from the Las Glorias airstrip south of Hermosillo, Sonora, bound for Culiacán, Sinaloa. Minutes after departure the plane lost stability and crashed on the grounds of the El Charolais ranch, about seven kilometres south of the Hermosillo‑La Colorada road.

All three occupants survived the impact but were injured. They were rescued by local fire, police and Red Cross teams and transferred to a private hospital in Hermosillo for medical evaluation. Authorities have opened an investigation, citing a possible mechanical failure, but the exact cause has not yet been confirmed.
