Three Kargaki Family Members Released on Bail in Vorizia, Greece

Three members of the Kargaki family – the son‑in‑law, nephew and brother of the late Fanouri Kargaki – were released on bail by an investigating judge in Vorizia, Crete. They had been detained for animal‑theft charges in Rethymno and were also linked to the November 2025 bomb explosion at the Frangiadaki family home that triggered an armed clash.

The bail order imposes a travel ban, requires the trio to appear before the local police once a month, and forbids any contact with persons considered victims or witnesses in the bomb case. Police presence in Vorizia remains heightened following the release.
