Three killed in Rio Verde car‑truck collision on BR‑452
A collision between a Chevrolet Prisma and a large truck on the BR‑452 rural stretch near Rio Verde, Goiás, resulted in three fatalities. The victims were 66‑year‑old Eva Mariza da Silva Alves, who was rescued alive but later died of her injuries at the Municipal University Hospital, and two unidentified male occupants who were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash left three occupants trapped in the wreckage before rescue teams from the fire department, Federal Highway Police and the road concessionaire extracted them. Police opened an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
