Three Kosovo nationals killed in German motorway accident

Three individuals from Kosovo died in a car accident on the A3 motorway near Nittendorf, close to Regensburg, Germany. The victims, identified as Tahir Tahiri, Gentian Tahiri, and 16-year-old Laurent Aliu, were traveling from Kosovo toward Germany when their vehicle left the roadway.

According to investigators, the car veered off the highway, descended an embankment, and came to rest near the Nuremberg–Regensburg railway line. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle and the railway's contact network, leading to the temporary suspension of rail traffic between Regensburg and Nuremberg and the evacuation of approximately 80 passengers from a train that lost power.

The victims, who resided in the Main-Taunus district of Hesse, are being laid to rest in the village of Komogllavë, Ferizaj. The accident occurred around 7:00 AM on a Thursday, and authorities are still investigating the exact cause of why the vehicle left the motorway.
