Three Men Sentenced for Southend High Street Stabbing

Three men were sentenced at Basildon Crown Court for a daylight stabbing on Southend High Street that left two victims with serious injuries. The attack occurred on 8 February 2025 at around 5:30 p.m. Kisra Karime (26), Mohammed Fatah (29) and Ali Maulood (37) were arrested in March, charged and later admitted offences of grievous bodily harm with intent (Karime and Fatah) and affray (Maulood). On 24 July, Karime received two years and six months, Fatah two years and nine months, and Maulood one year and two months in prison. Essex Police highlighted the incident as unacceptable and praised the investigation that captured the fight on CCTV and led to the convictions.
