Three minors arrested for causing fire in Veikou Grove

Three minors have been arrested for causing a fire in the Veikou Grove area, near the borders of Psychiko and Galatsi. The incident occurred on a Friday afternoon when the youths allegedly threw firecrackers, igniting dry vegetation.

Following an investigation by the Fire Service's Fire Arson Crimes Directorate, the minors admitted to their involvement and expressed regret for the consequences of their actions. In addition to the three youths, their parents were also arrested on charges of neglect of supervision of minors. The suspects will be brought before the relevant prosecutor authorities.
