Three Missing Men Found Dead in Germany's Rhine River

German police confirmed that the bodies of three men aged 23, 27 and 50 were recovered from the Rhine near Biblis on the morning of 22 June, after they were reported missing on 20 June. The men had entered the river near the “NATO‑Straße” to swim and failed to return. Searches involving a police boat, a helicopter from the Egelsbach air squadron, fire‑rescue services and the DLRG were initially unsuccessful, but the bodies were later located by responders after further reports of missing swimmers.

The investigation has been taken over by the criminal investigation departments of Rüsselsheim and Heppenheim. Current findings do not yet indicate evidence of a criminal act, and the case remains under inquiry.
