Three missing teenagers rescued from Chittagong
Police in Chittagong have rescued three teenage girls from the Khulshi area after they went missing from Lama Upazila in Bandarban four days ago. The girls, aged 13, 14, and 17, were discovered in separate residences in the Khulshi area, including Concord Tower, where they were reportedly working as domestic helpers.
The teenagers had left their homes on October 11, initially claiming they were going to collect registration cards or certificates. Following their disappearance, families filed a general diary with the Lama Police Station.
Upon interrogation, the girls stated they left home to earn their own money and sought work as domestic help. They reportedly met an elderly individual in the Bodhdarhat area of Chittagong who facilitated their placement in local households. After legal procedures were completed, the girls were returned to their families on Thursday morning.
