Three Norwegians face trial for UK murder conspiracy
Three Norwegian teenagers, aged 17 to 19, are facing trial in Norway for their alleged involvement in a conspiracy to commit murder in the United Kingdom. The defendants are accused of acting on behalf of the Swedish criminal network Foxtrot, which authorities suspect may have links to Iran.
The charges involve conspiracy to commit murder within the framework of an organized criminal group. According to the indictment, the roles of the three suspects included recruiting Johannes Kongsnes Natland, accompanying him on his flight to the UK, and providing repeated financial support. Natland, 19, has already been convicted in the UK after being arrested in Huddersfield in March 2025 with a semi-automatic pistol, a revolver, and 19 bullets.
A fourth individual, aged 17, was previously sentenced to 14 years in prison for three attempted murders, including one in the UK, and for complicity in two murders linked to the Foxtrot network in Sweden. The three current defendants have maintained their innocence through their lawyers.
