Three Seas Initiative opens Warsaw office for new Business Council

The Three Seas Initiative, a regional cooperation platform linking Central and Eastern European states along a north‑south axis, has launched the Three Seas Business Council (TSBC) with its headquarters inaugurated in Warsaw. The initiative, originally conceived before World War II and revitalised in 2015 by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar‑Kitarović and Polish President Andrzej Duda, now unites thirteen EU members – Poland, Croatia, Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary – and counts strategic partners such as the United States, Germany, Turkey, Japan and the European Commission.

The TSBC, founded by former heads of the Polish Development Bank Beata Daszyńska‑Muzyczka and Paweł Nierada, aims to act as an independent business platform that connects investors, promotes infrastructure projects and strengthens transport corridors linking the Baltic, Adriatic and Black Sea regions. "In short, the TSBC is an independent business platform that creates an investment and business hub for projects and economic relations in the Three Seas region," said Daszyńska‑Muzyczka.

The opening follows the latest Three Seas summit held in Croatia, reaffirming the governments' commitment to accelerate joint large‑scale projects and deepen economic ties across the region.
