Three suspects arrested in connection with robberies in Paraíba

Three suspects believed to be part of a criminal group traveling from Acre to commit robberies were arrested at the border between Paraná and Santa Catarina by the Federal Highway Police.

The group is under investigation for at least eight robberies in João Pessoa, Paraíba, specifically targeting neighborhoods such as Mangabeira and Porta do Sol. According to the Paraíba Civil Police, the suspects allegedly targeted residences, held families under threat for hours, and forced victims to make Pix transfers. One victim reported losses of approximately R$ 60,000 in bank transfers, along with the theft of a car and a motorcycle.

Investigators have identified 24 individuals linked to the group, resulting in 15 arrests and leaving 10 suspects at large. The three men currently in custody were recognized by a victim during the investigation.
