Three teens charged in South Carolina Flock Safety camera destruction
Three 19-year-olds are facing criminal charges after allegedly destroying a Flock Safety camera pole and equipment in Chester County, South Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of August 15 on Harmony Church Road in the Edgemoor community.
According to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, investigators say the group, identified as Blaze Fuller, Samuel Carlisle, and James Ryerson, cut down the camera pole and struck the battery pack with a hammer until it exploded and ignited a fire. Local residents expressed concern that the blaze could have spread to nearby homes if not for rainfall. The total damage is estimated to exceed $5,000.
All three suspects were arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy and malicious injury to personal property. They were booked on August 18 and released the following day after posting bond.
