Three Telangana students killed in Florida car accident

Three students from Telangana, India, died in a car accident in Brevard County, Florida. The vehicle, a 2025 Hyundai Elantra, reportedly veered off Interstate 95 in the Palm Bay area and crashed into a tree, causing the car to catch fire.

One of the deceased has been identified as N. Rahul from Navipet in the Nizamabad district. Rahul had completed an MS degree and was enrolled in a PhD program at the University of South Florida. He was traveling to a part-time workplace at the time of the crash. While two occupants died at the scene, Rahul succumbed to his injuries later at a hospital.

The identities of the other two students have not yet been confirmed. The family of the deceased has requested assistance from the government to facilitate the repatriation of his body to India. The Telugu Association of North America is coordinating with US authorities to manage the necessary formalities.
