Three-vehicle rear‑end crash on B125 in Freistadt injures two

On 11 July 2026 at about 10:00 a.m., a rear‑end collision involving three vehicles occurred on the B125 near the Freistadt fire station. A 66‑year‑old German driver travelling north‑to‑south slowed for a turning car; a 37‑year‑old driver behind her stopped in time, but a 49‑year‑old driver further back could not brake and struck the 37‑year‑old’s vehicle, pushing it into the 66‑year‑old’s car.

Both the 49‑year‑old and the 37‑year‑old sustained light injuries. The 49‑year‑old’s two children, aged seven and ten, who were seated in the rear, were unharmed.
