Three‑Vehicle Crash in Vicovu de Sus Injures 5‑Year‑Old Child

A three‑vehicle collision occurred on Sunday afternoon on Calea Cernăuți near the Pallas Vicov events hall in Vicovu de Sus, Romania. Police reports say a 30‑year‑old driver of a Volvo attempted an unsafe turn, striking a Renault driven by a 48‑year‑old man traveling in the opposite direction. The impact propelled the Renault into a parked Mercedes‑Benz, damaging all three vehicles.

The only injured party was a 5‑year‑old child who was a passenger in the Renault. The child was taken to hospital by an SMURD ambulance with a diagnosis of a mild chest contusion and is not in life‑threatening condition. Both drivers tested negative for alcohol.
