Thriller authors Bartul Vlahović and Steve Berry release new works

The crime and thriller literary scene is seeing notable activity with new releases and author insights. In Croatia, author and head of Naklada Fragment, Bartul Vlahović, is preparing for a third edition of his thriller ‘Skriveni u tišinama’. The book has seen significant commercial success, with two previous editions selling out within two years of its initial publication.

Vlahović, who cites influences ranging from childhood mystery series to the socially engaged works of Stieg Larsson, emphasizes his appreciation for authentic and realistic crime prose.

In a different development, author Steve Berry, a former lawyer of thirty years, has released a new thriller titled ‘Lista’. Moving away from his typical historical mysteries, the novel focuses on corporate power and corruption in a small American town. The story follows a character named Brent Walker as he uncovers a deadly system of control managed by the Southern Republic corporation.
