Thrissur Titans win Kerala Cricket League title

The Thrissur Titans won the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) title after defeating the Calicut Globe Stars by four wickets in a close final. Chasing a target of 168, the Titans reached 169 for six in 19.3 overs, securing the victory with just three balls remaining.

Ahmad Imran was named Player of the Match following a match-winning half-century, supported by an all-round performance from captain M S Akhil. A crucial 87-run partnership between Imran and Sanjeev Satheesan helped stabilize the chase after early wickets.

The final, held at the Greenfield International Stadium in Kariavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, drew a crowd of over 28,000 spectators. The high attendance highlights the increasing popularity of domestic cricket in Kerala. Mohammed Azharuddeen of the Alleppey Ripples was named Player of the Tournament.
