Thu Hang Cooperative enhances Ha Tinh agricultural products with technology

Thu Hang Agricultural and Medicinal Materials Cooperative in Ha Tinh is utilizing technology to enhance the value of local agricultural and medicinal products. Under the direction of Director Vo Thi Thu Hang, the cooperative has developed 10 marketable products, including two 3-star OCOP (One Commune One Product) certified items: turmeric starch and cassava starch.

The cooperative has implemented a circular production model with support from MEVI Company. This process includes using cold drying technology to preserve natural components and repurposing processing by-products, such as turmeric and cassava residue, into microbial fertilizer for organic farming. To ensure quality, the cooperative manages raw material areas through sustainable practices, linking with local farmers to provide guidance on seed selection, care, and the use of IMO 4 microbial preparations.
