Thunder Bay Theatre to host fundraiser following renovations

Thunder Bay Theatre in Alpena, Michigan, is hosting a fall fundraiser on October 24 to mark the first event in its building since it closed in 2020 due to water damage from a fire. The facility has undergone extensive renovations since 2023 following additional challenges, including a warehouse fire and a robbery.

The upcoming evening will feature music by alumnus Mark Francis and a preview of the newly refurbished lobby. During the program, the theatre's board of directors will provide a full update regarding the future of the building and the ongoing project.
