Thunnissen pushes ahead with housing projects in Bodegraven and Wilgenrijk, Netherlands

The municipality of Bodegraven‑Reeuwijk and developer TN Ontwikkeling BV, part of Thunnissen, signed an intent agreement to redevelop the former Brouwerij De Molen site. The plan, named Brouwerskade, targets around 50 new homes—including social rental, mid‑price rental, affordable purchase and free‑sector units—plus space for small businesses and urban sports. About two‑thirds of the homes will be affordable, priced up to €420,000 for 2026, aiming to expand the town’s supply of starter and move‑up housing.

In a separate agreement, Thunnissen and Omega will develop four new sub‑areas in the Wilgenrijk district of Maassluis, adding roughly 140 residences. The mix includes about 110 owner‑occupied homes of various types and 32 turn‑key free‑sector rental apartments, with construction expected to start by the end of 2027. The partnership builds on earlier joint phases that have delivered over 300 homes in the Wilgenrijk area, reflecting a continued focus on quality, differentiation and future‑proof neighbourhoods.
