Thuringia reports 94 offenses during AfD protests in Erfurt

The Thuringian Ministry of the Interior reported that 94 criminal offenses and nine administrative offenses occurred during protests and blockades surrounding the AfD federal party congress in Erfurt in early July.

According to the ministry's response to a parliamentary inquiry, only twelve of these offenses have been classified as left-wing extremist so far. Despite the scale of the incidents, which included an attack on a media team where reporters were reportedly chased, knocked down, and kicked, no arrests have been made in connection with the demonstrations.
