Thuy Tien family withdraws from public life during prison sentence

Following a November 2025 trial, Thuy Tien is currently serving a two-year prison sentence for the charge of “customer deception.” Since her incarceration, information regarding her well-being has been limited, primarily shared through close associates. Runner-up Thuy An remains in contact and has been providing food for her.

Thuy Tien’s family members have largely withdrawn from public view. Her mother, who previously engaged in affiliate marketing via livestreams, announced in late January 2026 that she would stop all social media activity and “hide away” for several months, or until her daughter’s return. Her mother also previously mentioned renting out her private residence to move into a rental room.

Her father, Nguyen Thuc Ti Ti, who was previously known for supporting her career and appearing in vlogs, has also remained in seclusion. During the initial investigation phase, he reportedly contributed 3.2 billion VND to mitigate the consequences of the legal incident.
