ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems expands naval partnerships and project milestones

ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) is expanding its strategic partnerships and project milestones across several international naval programs. For the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project, TKMS signed a Memorandum of Understanding with OSI Maritime Systems to evaluate the integration of ECPINS navigation software into TKMS platforms. The company aims to provide twelve submarines for Canada, with the first 212CD-type vessel scheduled for delivery in 2033 and the full fleet by 2043.

In addition to the Canadian developments, TKMS has completed the Dolphin-class submarine program by delivering the final vessel, ‘INS DRAKON’, to the Israeli Navy. The company also signed a letter of intent with the Italian shipyard Fincantieri to deepen cooperation within the European submarine sector, pending regulatory approvals. Despite these operational advancements and strategic moves, TKMS shares have recently faced downward pressure on the stock market.
