Thyssenkrupp to outsource canteen operations to external providers

Thyssenkrupp has finalized plans to transition its internal canteen operations to external service providers. Following the dissolution of its subsidiary, Thyssenkrupp Delicate GmbH, the company confirmed that catering services at its Essen headquarters will be managed by Compass Group through its subsidiary, Eurest Deutschland GmbH.

The transition, described as a business transfer, is intended to ensure continued dining services for employees at the 'ruhr tech kampus essen'. Additionally, external service providers will take over canteen operations at Thyssenkrupp steel division locations in Duisburg, Dortmund, Bochum, and Kreuztal.
