T.I. Announces Final Album 'Kill The King' as He Seeks Dismissal of Remaining Lawsuit
Atlanta rapper T.I. has revealed the tracklist for “Kill The King,” his announced final studio album scheduled for release on June 26. The 15‑track project features collaborations with Summer Walker, Jeezy, Usher, Young Dro, The‑Dream, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, 2 Chainz, T‑Pain and others, marking a celebration of his two‑decade career in Southern hip‑hop.
At the same time, T.I. filed a motion in Los Angeles federal court asking Judge Fernando M. Olguin to dismiss the last remaining claim in a lawsuit brought by Sabrina Peterson. The claim alleges emotional distress from an Instagram video posted in July 2025, in which T.I. said, “It’s a beautiful day to not spread lies and to not be negative. It’s a beautiful day, man, to mind your business.” T.I.’s attorneys argue the video did not identify Peterson and that the claim lacks sufficient evidence. A hearing on the dismissal request is set for July 30.
The dual developments—an eagerly anticipated album rollout and a legal effort to resolve a long‑running dispute—highlight T.I.’s ongoing cultural impact and his attempt to close both artistic and personal chapters.
