Tiago Grila admits to drug use before combat match and discusses addiction

Digital influencer Tiago Grila has made several admissions regarding drug use during an appearance on the podcast ‘Desvaneios’, hosted by Tiago Paiva.

Grila admitted to consuming illicit substances immediately before a combat sports match against an opponent known as Marble at an event organized by Duel. He stated that his lack of boxing training and the effects of the drugs contributed to his poor performance and subsequent fall after receiving a punch.

Additionally, Grila discussed his struggles with addiction and the emotional toll of his lifestyle. He recounted a traumatic incident in Montijo where he left one of his daughters in a car while he went to purchase cocaine, describing the experience as “inhumane” and a source of deep personal regret. He also mentioned a recent hospitalization after being found unconscious in a hotel room due to excessive substance use.
