Brazilian singer Tiago Iorc has opened up about the reasons behind his 2018 career hiatus during an appearance on the podcast ‘Pod_i com Andréia Sadi’. The artist revealed that an intense work routine severely impacted his mental health, leading to exhaustion and an inability to sleep.

Iorc described a period of profound burnout where he felt a lack of sensitivity and pleasure in performing. He explained that the decision to step away was necessary to reconnect with family and friends and to regain his emotional balance. He noted that this period of rest was essential for restoring the sensitivity required for his musical work.

The singer is currently touring Brazil to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his album ‘Troco Likes’.
